Medical Coordination Office
The Medical Coordination O ce (MCO) at Bumrungrad International is a unique and complimentary service designed to provide streamlined access and individual cultural support to our international patients. The MCO comprises Arabic and International teams: Arabic team is composed of 9 coordination physicians and 3 coordination nurses while international team has 7 coordination physicians and 2 coordination nurses representing over 30 countries and speaking more than 10 languages. From your initial email correspondence with our medical sta until the day you return home, our Coordination Physicians and nurses will be available to assist you.
Medical Coordination Services includes:
• Make special arrangements according to the needs of patients such language support, VIP meet and greet, patient escort services, etc. • Provide assistance in coordination with Business Center for travel and accommodation. Upon arrival and hospitalization • Make hospitality rounds for in-patients • Review and contemplate probable and current clinical problems
Pre-Arrival
• Provide assistance to Medical Enquiry team in gathering clinical history, reviewing related medical records of enquired patients in order to get initial specialist recommendation on investigations and treatments. • Provide assistance in getting transparent estimated price for the course of treatment. • Provide assistance in scheduling doctor appointments in coordination with • Provide assistance in coordination with Medical Transport team for those who need medical evacuation services. • Provide assistance in coordination with Third Party Payers such as insurance companies, embassies, and other related agencies. di erent clinics in the hospital. • Provide assistance in scheduling telemedicine appointments.

• Facilitate and support family meetings with the care team to clarify treatment plan and outcome, if required • Facilitate in providing detailed oriented medical reports upon request by patients
