Prevention
Cerebrovascular malformations cannot be prevented as the causes are unknown. The conditions are mostly congenital but the following is suggested to reduce the risk of rupture.

Avoid blood pressure increasing activities
Avoid taking anticoagulants such as Warfarin.
Consult a doctor if you have any abnormal symptoms.
