There are 3 techniques: reproductive technology
IUI (Intra–Uterine Insemination): This involves injecting the man’s sperm into the woman’s uterus on the day that the female ovulates. The fertilization success depends on the quality of the egg and sperm during that cycle.
ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection): The healthiest sperm is selected to combine a suitably-matured egg in the laboratory.
IVF (In-vitro Fertilization): About 20,000 of the man’s sperms are combined with an egg, allowing the strongest sperm to fertilize the egg naturally.
IVF success rates divided by age groups:
For patients younger
67 % than 29 is
For the 73 % is age group 35-39
For the 64 % is age group 30-34
over 38, For those found with normal chromosomes through chromosome testing, the pregnancy success rate is around
70-80 % (for 1 embryo transfer)
